Nanna Kies facilitates personal & organizational change through (Executive) Coaching, Team Coaching, Supervision groups and tailored leadership & change programs.
Over the past 20+ years, Nanna has worked with individuals, team & groups and corporates from over the world. With multinational stock-listed companies to family businesses, in many different industries, with people across all leadership levels (from young talents to C-suite executives to seasoned professionals) and across departments, with intact, multifunctional and cross-hierarchical teams. Clients have included ASML, STERIS-AST, Aramco, Neste, Bunzl, Adyen, Nike EMEA, Randstad Holding, GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, Rabobank, Aon EMEA, AstraZeneca, and Denso Automotive EMEA.
It is through this depth and breadth of experience that Nanna has built a solid understanding of the world her clients, participants and coachees work in, and of the (personal) leadership challenges that they face; she has developed an antenna that quickly picks up on organisational and people dynamics and on behavioural patterns in the wider context.
She supports leaders, teams, groups and organizations to reach their full potential, to flourish and to thrive. She enables leaders, professionals, teams and groups to slow down, ultimately to speed up. In a trusted setting she offers a safe space to pause and reflect on personal (or team) leadership and business challenges. To cultivate (self) awareness. To explore and unravel our thought and behavioural patterns. To look at the question through different lenses. To experiment from a mindset of curiosity and growth. To get unstuck, to discover new possibilities for action and to accelerate growth and performance.
Her style is playful and energetic, knowing when and where to slow down, how to spot and name the elephant in the room, and what to do to create a safe space for learning & experimentation. Nanna believes that change happens, to a major extent, in the space between individuals, consequently the recurring theme in her work is improving the quality of relationships. She recognizes that it is through the type and the quality of the interactions between people that we make change happen.
A central theme is about of ‘Safe Places’: creating a climate of psychological safety within organisations, because she strongly believes that the quality of interpersonal relationships is a key ingredient for high performance and organisational success. ‘Safe places' is about creating a climate in which people feel included, valued and respected, where people are curious and open-minded, have the courage to flourish and thrive, to speak-up and encourage others to do the same, to spur positive change around them. It allows us to tap into the collective intelligence, to tap into the diversity in its broadest sense and unleash the potential within the organisation, within and across teams, hierarchical levels and organisational borders.
